Such a cool studio in greenpoint exploring fashion and art. They currently have an exhibition showcasing one woman’s massive collection of wool skirts and had a group of artists create additional skirts using different unique textile techniques. I took a Japanese patchwork curtain (norem) making workshop here. It was so nice to unplug and do something tactile. Workshops range in prices and this one was on the pricier side, but we learned multiple skills and I walked away with something for my home. We dyed with marigolds, sewed, chatted, drank wine, and listened to good music. Lovely little sunday. Will definitely be back.
